Most sleep masks press straight onto your eyelids. This one is moulded, so there is a pocket of space over each eye — you can open your eyes underneath it and blink normally, and there is no pressure on the lashes.

The strap adjusts across a wide range and fits most adults. Side sleepers: the contoured shape sits higher than a flat mask, which some people prefer and some find bulky against the pillow.
Looking after it
Hand wash cool with a pH-neutral or silk detergent and reshape while damp. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or bleach — the moulded cups will lose their shape. Line dry out of direct sunlight.
